Visitation Rights During COVID-19

So it appears, that visitation with your children, falls under essential matters. Both parents, will continue to be able to visit with their children, despite Stay-At Home Orders, Work from Home Orders, Shelter in Place and so on.


It should not be a surprise to anyone, that the parent-child relationship is "essential". Nevertheless, I know many wondered, and wanted to know.


The best rule to follow, is to ask yourself - what is best for your child? And to your child, both of his/her parents' are essential.


I know there are times, especially when you are scared, that a parent might forget to see what that the child needs all their loved ones. This time is not the time to forget. Your children need you both.
